As a step mother and a co-owner of Divorce Magazine, www.DivorceMagazine.com and Divorce Marketing Group (www.DivorceMarketingGroup) I have a keen interest in not just observing but in influencing how divorce impacts our lives.
It is our privilege and responsibility to call for changes where we see fit. We live in an interesting time where our ability to effect changes have been made easier through the internet. When about 50% of marriages end in divorce, most of us fit into one or more of these categories:
1. Divorced/separated/ thinking about getting a divorce
2. Married to a divorcee/dating a divorcee
3. Step parent/grandparent
4. Step child/step grandchild
5. Know someone who is divorced/separated/thinking about getting a divorce
6. Have an opinion about divorce.
No matter which category you fall into, what you think, say and how you act impacts divorce. More importantly it impacts lives, whether you know that person or not.
So, let’s call for and make some changes for the better.
